A full-time two-year diploma course designed to prepare students for medical laboratory work in healthcare, diagnostic, research, and clinical laboratory environments.
The Diploma in Medical Lab Technician course is a full-time course of study for two academic years.
Minimum qualification is H.S.C. Science Pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Students can carry out medical laboratory work in various government departments, medical and pharmacy colleges, peripheral laboratories, research centres, and diagnostic centres.
Qualified candidates may also set up and run their own clinical laboratory under an MD Pathologist undertaking.
Each student must maintain records of daily work and prepare journals as required from time to time. These journals will be regularly checked and signed by the demonstrator.
